Excellent intro. Out of blue question- what is the blue set of books in the background on the top two shelves. Patristic collection? Just curious.

Not THAT out of the blue. It's in the background. Those are Harvard classics. Back from when Harvard had standards.

They're coming soon. For now, it's going to be once a week, until I get a backlog really established. Hopefully, that'll happen over the hiatus.

Excellent intro. I hope you don't fall into the "let me blather on for 15-30 minutes" trap. Maybe others have the time, but honestly a review that is 3 to 5 minutes is sufficient to either intrigue me or let me know to pass on that book. I know, I know - if it's a book you really like you'll want to go on about it, in detail, maybe with spoilers. Ask me about Roger Zelazny's "Doorways in the Sand" (1976) sometimes and I'll chew your ear off. But remember that utility is brevity, and it's not just the "yoofs" that use TicTok and YouTube shorts.

I've got a few already recorded. I don't think one goes above 8 minutes.

Finally! To put a face to a name. I've been receiving this in my inbox, and I had no idea where it came from.
