I don’t think that Joseph Campbell was even alive, but he did write some books on Oriental mythological and mysticism…
A quick search says he was born in 1904, so four years after the book takes place. Still, that was a good catch! :D
Bought, read it, loved it. The history was good, characters true to the times. Do yourself and a neice/nephew grand child a favor buy it and share it.
